One-of-a-kind handmade quilted jacket created from a cozy blanket and reimagined into a wearable piece. This jacket features a beautiful Dresden plate design on the back made with 1930s-inspired fabrics, with colorful patchwork pocket details on the front for a fun vintage-inspired look.

Cropped with an easy boxy fit, it’s lightweight, soft, and perfect for layering through the seasons.

I’m Lisa Ohnemus, the maker behind Ello Designs. I have always loved creating and finding ways to give old things new life. Vintage quilts, embroidered linens, and special fabrics all carry a story, and I enjoy turning them into something beautiful and useful again.

I create one-of-a-kind bags, coats, clothing, and other handmade pieces using textiles that might otherwise be tucked away or forgotten. I love the charm, texture, and history in each piece, and I try to preserve them while making something new to be enjoyed again.  I also make quilts, embroidered items, and pillows using new fabrics and materials.
