It began as tidying up the old sewing box, folding some scraps of cloth and trying to use the empty drawers that the children left behind …, a needle or thread could perhaps mend the broken heart after parting, when l finally realized that they will never return. Curiously l began to make felt hearts, add flowers, until the idea began to emerge and my inspiration turned to the dolls. Keca’s creation arise in the tranquility of the country side of Jones County. Inspired by the tradition of the state of Georgia ( where heaven lands).
