This adorable bee suncatcher is made from individual pieces of hand cut glass. Each piece is cut by hand, fine tuned on the grinder, intricately wrapped in copper foil tape, and soldered. The finished piece is polished to shine.

I would strongly recommend using Command window hooks to display the suncatcher. Suction cups will let go of the window at some point.
- I do use solder that contains 60% lead and 40% tin.
- Care – the lead will tarnish from time to time. Simply take steel wool and gently rub the soldier to brighten it back up. Use furniture polish to protect and shine.
So how do I make them?
I make limited-edition items based on the glass available to me. Once I decide what a piece of glass will become, the pattern is marked on the glass. The glass is then cut, ground, and cleaned. Next, the pieces are foiled, and the assembly process of soldering the item together can begin. Some items are more complex than others and take longer, but once the piece is “done” it is then cleaned again, sealed, and polished before making its way here.

"Each piece is wrapped in a 'glass sandwich' of thick, double-layered cardboard and bubble wrap to ensure rigidity, then shipped in a sturdy, padded box with packing peanuts to prevent movement. We ship via USPS/FedEx within 2-3 business days. While we take extreme care, if an item arrives damaged, please send a photo of the item and packaging within 48 hours for a replacement or refund
