Description
What a gorgeous stone with its rusty, putty and pewter tones, best I can descrobe the colors. They are very striking, though. It is a fat stone, so using the prong method was best suited. With an elongated loop wire bail, I soldered on a cross piece of wire with a flat small, putty colored bead strung on it. Two copper jump rings hold the chain with a large stretched oval and 3 small oval links alternated, closed by a copper lobster clasp, which is totally uneeded because of the length of 31 inches. I thought this would be great on a long tunic shirt or blouse. Ocean Jasper is said to help with personal growth and emotional healing. But much else has been attributed to this beautiful stone: joy and optimism, patience and acceptance, emotional release, self-expression, stress relief, and physical support! Wow! A must wear stone!

Maker Information
After retiring from teaching, then owning an Inn and Gift Shop, I learned how to make jewelry, the metal smithing kind. I fell for the soldering, riveting, forming, cutting and finishing stones, you name it, I am still learning new skills. There is something about the transforming of sheet and wire metal into a lovely, unique backdrop for a special stone. Like, who doesn't like rocks, pretty ones?
My local Lapidary Club has a clubhouse where I can use specialized tools to finish stones. We also have a great Gem and Mineral Show with vendors all over the world, even Australia! You will see some of his Boulder Opals I love so much.
Life is good!
