I’m Lisa Ohnemus, the maker behind Ello Designs. I have always loved creating and finding ways to give old things new life. Vintage quilts, embroidered linens, and special fabrics all carry a story, and I enjoy turning them into something beautiful and useful again.

I create one-of-a-kind bags, coats, clothing, and other handmade pieces using textiles that might otherwise be tucked away or forgotten. I love the charm, texture, and history in each piece, and I try to preserve them while making something new to be enjoyed again.  I also make quilts, embroidered items, and pillows using new fabrics and materials.

Whether I’m working with vintage textiles or new materials, every piece is made with care and meant to be unique, useful, and full of character.
