Introducing resin artist, John Meng-Frecker, the artist behind Watercolor Wildflowers. Everything resin artists need is located in my shop / studio. You can ask for a studio appointment by calling (402) 943-7516. The studio is at 5069 Leavenworth St. in Omaha, NE. John lives and works just 5 minutes away and is happy to discuss your ideas. Please consider a purchase, commission, or “made to order” artwork. John specializes in creating illuminated light houses, stunning visual watercolor paintings and unique resin art sculptures. These are transparent resin paintings that can literally illuminate your home. LED back lighting is used with resin paintings and ornamental accents.

My resin artist journey was learning all of this from scratch. I wanted my art to be unique to me. So I purposefully did not look at You Tube or other Resources to see what others were making. That experimental time served me well. My learning landed me far ahead in capabilities and I am now able to build a complete design from scratch.

My interest is transparency.  I switched from oil paint to watercolor because of the look of illuminated watercolor pigment on a white page. The painting is literally back lit.  Now I’m using electric backgrounds behind transparent resin paintings for a full light impact.
